Mr. Pravinbhai Nakrani
A 60 years old male patient was admitted in hospital for complaint of chest pain and dyspnoea on exertion. He was diagnosed to have unstable angina with known case of hypertension and COPD. His cath. angiography revealed that he had triple vessels disease and his 2D Echo report showed that pumping power of his heart was reduced to 45%. Cardiologist at another hospital advised him to go for surgical bypass for his complaint, but as patient was poor and unable to afford the cost of surgical bypass he agreed for natural bypass procedure. After completion of 35 sessions of EECP treatment he was free of chest pain and dyspnoea even after climbing upto 7th floor at a stretch without any complaint and his 2D Echo was repeated and showed increase in pumping power of his heart to 60-62% (which is normal range). He also adapted our life style modification program.
